The Covid-19 pandemic has affected the Indian auto industry, but it is beginning to recover. The expansion in India is being fueled by the new and improved car models produced by Indian automakers. Although “all things are not created equal,” there are a select few models that buyers prefer above others, and as a result, they lead the list of the most popular cars in India for the month of November. So, we’ve put together a list of the top 10 selling automobiles in India. Names like Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Alto, and others are included on the list.
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno tops the list of vehicles that are most popular in India. In November 2022, the high-end hatchback sold 20,945 units in India. The facelift model of the car’s new design and feature list can probably be blamed for the sales results.
Tata Nexon SUV, which defied convention and outsold hatchbacks to become India’s second best-selling vehicle, sold 15,871 units. Maruti Suzuki Alto, which sold 15,663 units in India, came after Nexon.

Maruti Suzuki WagonR, a tallboy hatchback, came in right behind Swift to claim fifth place with sales of Maruti Suzuki Dzire, a sedan, came in at number six on the list, selling 14,456 units. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga MPV, which sold 13,818 units in India, rose to the seventh spot on the list.
The Hyundai Creta, Tata Punch, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza, three SUVs, took the eighth, ninth, and tenth ranks, respectively. Tata Punch sold 6,110 units in India compared to 13,321 sold by Hyundai Creta. The Maruti Suzuki Brezza maintained its ranking at the bottom of the list with sales of 11,324 units in the Indian market.
